The Bennink Foundation is, since 2014, an important supporter of a project to fight pancreatic cancer. It also confirmed its commitment for 2017. Pancreatic cancer is one of the most deadly cancers, with less the 6% survival rate. The VU (Vrije Universiteit), in cooperation with other noteworthy cancer institutes , is looking for an innovative way to help fight pancreatic cancer via better diagnosis, personalized therapy and new drug treatments.
