SOS Children's Village Senegal

SOS Children’s Villages is a Non-governmental Organization, which exists for more than 65 years and gives vulnerable children a home and future. The organization is present in 134 countries.

As from 2016, the Foundation is funding a project in the Fatick area of Senegal, which has the objective to reintegrate children, whom are victim of worst forms of child labour, with their families and caretakers. The whole program will take 4 years (2016-2019) and consists of 3 projects; 150 young domestic girls, 150 children from salt flats and 300 beggars children (talibés).

The project has been visited in March 2017 by members of the Board and its outcome has been discussed in the Board meeting of April 2017.
