SOS Children’s Villages is a Non-Governmental Organization, which exists for more than 65 years and gives vulnerable children a home and a future. SOS is active in 134 countries around the world, helping hundreds of thousands of children each year through family-based alternative care (555 children villages), schools, health centers, family strengthening programs and other community-based work.
The Bennink Foundation has been supporting SOS since 2013 with a community-integrated Family Strengthening program in Dapaong, Togo. The aim is to assist families by providing daycare, medical assistance, vocational training and educational support. The Bennink Foundation is the most important donor to this project and has covered one third of the yearly cost. |
