Safeguarding the planet: Wildlife conservation
WWF
The population of wildlife, especially big cats, hyenas and wild dogs, have reduced drastically in Zambia. WWF together with the Zambian Wildlife Authority (ZAWA) and the African Parks Network (APN), are working together to restore and protect the animals in designated parks.

The objective of the program, "Caring for Carnivores" is to build a viable ecological network in Zambia, including protected areas, to support stable or increasing populations of the five large carnivores of Zambia: lion, cheetah, leopard, hyena and African wild dog.

The Bennink Foundation is, since 2014, supporting the anti-poaching aspect of the program, crucial for its success, and has also confirmed its commitment for 2017/2018.
